Racial Unity Week 2024 June 15 - 22

Oneness and unity are key aspects of the Christian gospel.  Jesus taught us that our unity is proof that He is Lord.   The church has often overlooked racial and ethnic unity as a key aspect of Biblical unity and we believe that is a mistake.  To that end we are encouraging the full body of Christ in the St. Louis metropolitan area to participate in Racial Unity Week.  This week will encompass several events that have been planned by a diverse team from across many denominations, ethnicities and generations.

Maafa is a Kiswahili word translated as "great disaster" or "great tragedy". Join us as we honor, through prayer and reflection, the African people who suffered through the Middle Passage of the Transatlantic slave trade.
